In the midst of some rogue health stuff (everything is better now, knock on wood) I celebrated a milestone bday. I received many interesting memories and kind wishes, and I’m still reflecting on how lucky I am to have so many great folks in my life. As Seities closes with their final edition, I am grateful to be included in 2022-24 ‘Dreams’ publication 🙏🏽 There are so many great artists featured in Seities’ publications… I recommend checking out the last of their analogue photography magazines before they are sold out forever. I owe a big thanks to @seities for analogue inspiration over the years. 10 years ago, when I was plugging away in my darkroom alone trying to put my ideas on paper, Seities opened my eyes to the experimental analogue printing taking place around the world. The work they published fueled my curiosity and pushed me to try new things. I have always been proud to talk about this high quality, beautifully curated publication that was created in my home province. One left! 👀Act quick if you would like the matted/framed print of ‘Next to Drop,’ currently for show/sale in support of local non-profit @snapgallery This was taken in the Canadian Rockies, on a four day backcountry trip through a summer snowstorm. It’s a serene place above Egypt Lake, and the shadows and movement of the water turned out so rich in etching ink, as a photogravure print. 👉🏽 This inked print is about 8"x10”, edition of 5, and it’s currently for sale for $85 in an 11x14” dark wood frame (more semi-raw wood finish, not quite as shown in the mock-up above).
